WHY I DREW HIM
I drew Димчо Дебелянов because his poetry has a softness that stays with you.
There is melancholy in his words, but never emptiness. Behind it there is tenderness, memory and a deep longing for belonging — for home, for peace, for something already lost but still impossible to forget.
His poems remind me that some of the strongest emotions are also the quietest.
That is why I wanted him to be part of ARTRIOTI.
I draw them so we don’t forget them.
