Why I drew him
Because Todor Kolev never needed to try too hard to be funny.
There was always something more behind the humour — irony, melancholy, rebellion and that very Bulgarian ability to laugh at life while seeing it exactly as it is.
Опасен чар is one of those films I can return to again and again, and this portrait is my way of keeping a little piece of that world alive.
