Inspired by Todor Kolev’s unforgettable presence in Опасен чар, this tote is part of my ARTRIOTI collection — a series dedicated to Bulgarian artists, actors, writers and cultural icons who continue to live through their words, characters and stories.
The illustrated portrait turns an everyday bag into something with personality — playful, bold and instantly recognisable.
Why I drew him
Because Todor Kolev had that rare mix of humour, intelligence and effortless charm.
He could make a character funny without ever making him shallow — there was always irony, melancholy and something deeply human underneath.
Опасен чар remains one of those stories that never really gets old.
