His work brought a radical new energy into Bulgarian literature and art. Bold, uncompromising and deeply expressive, Geo Milev challenged conventions and became a symbol of artistic freedom, intellectual courage and resistance.

WHY I DREW HIM
I drew Гео Милев because he represents the kind of artist who refuses to remain quiet.
There is intensity in his work — anger, beauty, rebellion and a need to say what others might prefer not to hear.
His writing and ideas still carry the feeling that art should not simply decorate the world. Sometimes it should disturb it, question it and force us to look again.
That is exactly why he belongs in ARTRIOTI.
I draw them so we don’t forget them.
